Saturday, September 19, 9am – Ice Pond hike. Skill level: Relatively easy, 2.2 miles.
Meet at the Ice Pond Conservation Area trailhead at 8:45 a.m. for a 9:00 a.m. hike start. Hike will last approximately 2 hours.

The water levels have been high this summer, which is great for paddling, but unfortunately the stormy weather also brought down quite a few trees that blocked navigation on the Swamp River and out of Green Chimneys. We were able to successfully clear the North Flow and ran two paddles from Wingdale in August. We are hoping to schedule more in September. We are also working with Green Chimneys to plan some clearing work there.
