Hike to Dover Stone Church
Joing FrOGS on a hike to Dover Stone Church, Dover Plains NY.
We will meet meet and park at the Dover Plains Elementary School parking lot, Route 22, Dover Plains.
Take a moderately difficult walk to the wonderful Dover Stone Church where a waterfall cascades within the church shaped cave. It is a place of natural and historic interest as well as being beautiful! Wear sturdy shoes with good grip as the rocks can be slippery near and in the “church”.
Option to also hike some of the new, and more difficult trails at the preserve for those that are interested after the hike to the Stone Church.
