This will be a bring your own boat (and life jacket) event.
Join FrOGS for a sunset paddle in the Great Swamp down the East Branch Croton River from the Patterson Environmental Park. Sunset in the swamp is one of the most beautiful and peaceful times to be there! Please note that we will be staying out until after sunset so please dress accordingly and bring a flashlight. Board member and photographer Justin Goodhart will also be happy to give some pointers about photographing the swamp to those that are interested.
Parking and river access is at the end of Marble Rd. off of Front Street in Patterson, NY. Please be careful crossing the active railroad tracks. Please arrive at the site a little before 4 PM to unload your boat and sign our waiver.
We are requesting a small donation to help us cover the cost of the special paddle insurance in the amount of $5/person for FrOGS Members and $10/person for non-members.
