Friends of the Great Swamp (FrOGS) will be holding our annual public meeting at 1:30PM on March 3rd, 2019.
The meeting will be followed by a program on Harmful Algae Blooms (HABS) that are being found more and more often on our local ponds and lakes, closing our local beaches and threatening public health. The Presenters will be Dr. Rebecca Gorney from the Water Division of the NYSDEC and Shawn Rogan and Team from the Putnam County Department of Health.
